Common People- Pulp

La banda se llama Pulp, pero esta es una versión de WIlliam Shatner, viejo actor y q creo q ahora se dedica a cantar covers jaja. Esa versión me gusta más por la voz de Shatner de más de 70 años. "Common people" se traduce como "Gente común": versión bastante irónica y desfachatada de lo que significaría vivir como un/a pobre para alguien de billete. Este video es una versión libre, de una gente -imagino- que también se sintió identificada con la canción y se burlan de una rubia fresa: turista recién llegada ke kiere hacer/ser como la gente del lugar.

Me enkanta el doble discurso implícito q maneja la canción ahora q está tan de moda o cool ser del pueblo, la cumbia, la chicha, la moda retro, ponerse un polo que diga "cholo", etc. Ser del a mayoría está de moda, ser de Gamarra, Polvos, Cachina, de los conos.

Voy escribiendo y me genera cierta autocrítica. ¿es común usar blogs y expresar lo q uno le venga en gana, no? ¿en cuánto aportamos nosotrs para ke esa doble moral genere más brechas sociales, desigualades, lucro de algunxs? Lucro de algunxs y más pobreza de otrxs, lxs comunes, la, finalmente, gente común.

Ser común está de moda.
